Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch! It was a beautiful day, the weather was perfect. Actually a little hot, just because we were all wearing long sleeves. After all it is fall. Who would have thought, 68 degrees in mid October? We went to Sauvey Island. It was our first time there, probably our last. Only because it was SO crowded. Madi loved the hay ride and testing out all the pumpkins. I feel bad cause we don't have any pictures of my sister Kim and her two boys, who were there as well. We got there an hour and 30 min. later than we were supposed to. So by the time we got there, they had already done the hay ride and the pumpkins. But I swear they were there! Thanks to my dad, Peter was kid free so he could take some good pictures. THANKS DAD!! I think deep down inside, my dad enjoyed carrying a 20 lb. baby. LOL Because it was so crowded, we didn't get any pumpkins. So we will probably attempt another one close by. I'm sure there will be pictures from that too.

These pictures are GREAT!!! It looks like you guys had so much fun!!! And it sounds like you'll get to go to another patch and have another fun day! :)

We went to one of the local farms here yesterday. It was busy there too, but if you get there right when they open it's not too bad. :)

Stephanie,

We tried going to the pumpkin patch and couldn't find it, and the other one cost $6 bucks a person, so we went to a pumpkin lot by the house. Benjamin still had fun. Its great you can do so much with your family. I wish we were closer to ours.
