My poor little girl. This morning was quiet the adventure. It all started with Madi and I taking a shower while Peter was waking up. We got out and I got dressed while Madi played in the bath tub. I got her out and put a towel around her. She was coming out of our bathroom and into the bedroom to go see Peter. Walking, she tripped on her towel and went face first, with her lip hitting the bed frame. Her front top teeth went through the outside of her bottom lip, and we think bottom teeth went through the inside.. both went all the way through her lip. Poor girl. So we called my sister, Adina, to meet us at the ER to pick up Alex. THANK YOU ADINA AND GREG!! I don't know how many stitches she got, but it was a lot. Peter was so great through it all, if he hadn't been here, I would've had a hard time handling it. I was in tears all morning. Madison did so good. She handled it pretty well, considering. The worse part for her was where they had to strap her down. While the doctor was stitching her up, she kept saying "I'm all done," then she even said, "I have to go potty." She tried so hard to convince us that she was really done. We both keep reliving it in our heads.. we just feel awful. Peter and I keep replaying all the "what ifs," but it happened. And it's just life. It was going to happen, we thought sooner, but we're glad that it was later. So that was our Sunday at the ER.

SNIFF SNIFF!! I AM SOOO SORRY YOU ALL HAD TO GO THROUGH THAT! You handled it way better than I would have. Poor little Madi, aw, I just feel so bad! Hopefully she starts feeling better tomorrow. Let me know if you need anything at all.
Wow! What a trooper! I think I would have passed out! I hope the pain isn't too bad for her the next few days.
Hang in there Steph! You're a super mom, and Maddi is very lucky to be "healing" with sucy a loving mommy. Love ya!
poor Madi. I'm so sorry that happened. I hope she heals quickly.
Aw man, I'm so sorry! Madi is such a trooper, I hope she feels better soon. Hang in there! =(
That picture just makes me hurt. It has been a week now how is she feeling? What a tough little girl.
I feel so bad for her and for you. Aren't kids amazing? Surprisingly, Sam has not had to visit the er yet . . . although he has a permanently cut muscle in his forehead.
Poor little thing, I saw her in nursery today and she was trying to tell us what happened. She's so level-headed. :)
