Pergo Hardwood Floors
For those who have pergo hardwood floors, I am curious what you use to clean them with? I've bought floor cleaners, used a bunch of others and they all leave streaks. So I went online and googled it and found this combination: 1 C. vinegar, 1 C rubbing alcohol and 1 C warm water. I know you can buy cleaners online specifically for pergo floors, but they can get expensive . I did mop today w/ this combination and it didn't leave streaks, it looks nice. But you can imagine the smell... yuck! So, I am curious as to what everyone else uses?

Hi Stephanie,
This is Sis. Dover...Mike and Michelle's mom. I just use plain white vinegar water (about 1/4 cup white vinegar to about 1 qt of water.) I damp mop the floor and go over it immediately with a clean, dry rag or towel. I clean houses professionally, and it's the only way and easiest way that I have found, without caustic smells. Hope this helps!
PS...I ran across your blog while looking at my kids blogs. I was wondering who the Jensen family was. (Honest, I'm not stalking you:):)
